Seville

Third times the charm

sunny 95 °F

This is my third time visiting this beautiful city and by far the most challenging. The good news is, even though I wanted to see everything again, I didn’t feel obligated to see any of the beautiful sights. I scheduled 10 days here to eat, drink and be merry and although I achieved all those goals, it was hampered by the excessive heat. Yes, / will restrain you from normal/mischievous activities. You know the saying, third times the charm, well, for us being here in the heat was actually very appealing. Because of the heat, we would meander through the local neighborhoods to stay in the shade (they purposely built the apartment structures close to give shade wherever possible) and get completely lost. Time was on our side so getting lost was just part of the adventure, plus we had google maps to get us out of our quagmire.

Seville, where the food was excellent, the people friendly and the surroundings spectacular. Yes, I think a fourth trip is in the making.

The nights may be in the 90°s but it’s never too hot to dance
