Barcelona

Wow! Ding, ding, ding, I think we have an addition to our all-time top five favorite cities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Barcelona, the food is delicious and there are bakeries on every corner (make that every corner and then some) are unbelievably good. The metro system is easy to navigate and very clean. The beaches are beautiful with miles of walking paths and plenty of entertainment. A lot of tourists here and the main La Rambla can get rather crowded, but it is also a lot of fun sitting at one of the many cafes where you can drink sangria and people watch with fascination. Our dollar doesn’t go as far in this city, but at least you get what you pay for, everything was worth the price we paid.
