It’s cute, it’s small, it’s a nice place to stop between Budapest and Prague. You can power walk from one end of the city to the other in 20 minutes. We loved the pedestrian walkways and enjoyed our time here eating their cuisine. We were fortunate to sit by a couple of Slovakian locals on our way to Prague where they gave us a history lesson of their country. A wonderful couple that are years beyond their age. An architect student whose lifelong dream is to build a church, small or big doesn’t matter, he just wants to work directly for God. He’s 24 years old and that’s his dream. Wow! Our conversation went from discussing religion to architecture to communism to different governments. We didn’t agree with everything he said, but we none the less had a very productive conversation. I hope we left him with some sound advice because he left us with an appreciation for how life is in a former communist country.
